The first project highlighted here was master planned and designed by GMP Architects-LA and recently received a Proposition 1C grant. Of 124 applications received by the Department of Housing and Community Development for 2008, only 38 were recommended which makes this award significant. According to the panel the project scored a perfect score making it easy for them to grant the project. The applicant cited the architect's complete and very visual package as a key component to the perfect score. The Proposition 1C funds will support the subsidized portion of the housing and are critical for the project's full funding.

The firm and its Principals are proud to have successfully completed over 100 built communities each with their own unique and distinct architectural solution. This approach to planning has led to completed projects that are as appreciated by the greater community as they are by the original developer and its occupants.
